Remember Please be vigilant and ensure your property is secured if leaving it and lights are sporadically left on if you leave at night or going on holiday. Ensure properties have CCTV cameras turned on and don't advertise that you are going away if doing so. The following burglaries have occurred in the following areas/ streets; Heelands - Ormsgill Court Date - 08/01/25 Time: 1330-1400hrs Type: Front door pushed aside Items taken: Tools, money, jewellery, laptop Bancroft - Octavian Drive Date: 08/01/25 Time: 18:10hrs Type: Gained entry through the rear of the property, lifted a fence panel and broken rear patio window/door Items taken: Nothing Shenley Church End - Engaine Drive Date: 07/01/25 - 08/01/25 Time: Between 1900hrs on 7th and 1000am on the 8th Type: Shed Burglary Items Taken: Electric Bikes. Fullers Slade - Woolmans Date: 09/01/25 Time: 0047hrs Type: Shed Burglary through rear gate. Items Taken: Attempted to steal 3 motocross bikes but were spooked by occupants of house. Please be vigilant in both these areas and the surrounding areas. |
