Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary on Crane Court, Sandhurst.
Between 11.00hrs and 20.30hrs on Monday 6 January 2025 an offender or offenders gained entry to a house on Crane Court. Access appears to have been gained by offenders climbing over a side wall into the rear garden and then smashing through glazing of a rear door.
The offenders were in the house long enough to make untidy searches of upstairs rooms and cupboards and to access the loft, at this time it appears they stole items of jewellery before making off out via the front door.
Investigating officers of the Priority Crime Team say “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to report it to Thames valley Police either on line or by calling our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43250008349.
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact “Crimestoppers” anonymously and free of charge on 0800 555 111. It is an independent charity, no personal details will be asked for, calls are not recorded or traced and you would not have to go to court.
Keep your home safe.
At this time of year with darkness setting in early evening, it is recommended that you utilise timer switches or smart bulbs so that lights come on in your absence and your home appears occupied, also ensure doors and windows are secured whenever your home is left unoccupied, ensure that side gates are also closed and secured. Burglars love to find properties that they don’t actually have to break into, and can either walk into and readily reach or climb into.
