Dear Resident 

I would like to wish you a Happy New Year for 2025 from myself and colleagues. 

Just a few updates I thought I would share with you. 

In the weekend before Christmas myself and PC Ahmed from Maidenhead Central NHPT team changed our shifts to be in the town at peak times to deter pick pockets, shop thefts and anti social behaviour. Our goal was for everyone doing their Christmas shopping to be able to do so without any concerns, for as little shop thefts as possible and also for us to be visible and approachable to anyone wanting a chat, including children.

The good news is we recieved only one reported shop lifting over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday combined which is a very good result, we also made sure there where no cyclists or E-Scooters being used on the High Street during this period and continue to deal with these issues as and when we see it happening.  

I will be sharing details in the weeks and months ahead of how you can meet us at one of our Have Your Say stands which will be held in stores etc. 

Also, sharing news of any good results we have on the area.
