Dear Resident,

We're appealing for witnesses following a grievous bodily harm incident in Oxford.

Between 7pm and 8pm on Friday (20/12) in the car park of Wickes, Aldi and Home Bargains, the victim, a man in his forties, was hit by a black Fiat 500. Two offenders have then got out the vehicle, and continued to assault the victim with baseball bats before making off in their vehicle.

The victim sustained injuries to their leg and face, and received hospital treatment, where they remain at this time.

The two male offenders are described as having a tall and lean build, and were seen to be wearing all black clothing and balaclavas. They were both carrying metal or wooden baseball bats.
