Dear Resident

We PCSO Miller and PC Ahmed, will be out patrolling in Maidenhead town centre today. 

Whilst helping to prevent crime, we will also be offering advice and answering any questions you may have. 

So, stop to say hello if you see us! 

We will be inside M&S from approx 1.30p.m. today (18th) raising awareness of distraction thefts and giving out purse bells etc. 

Please be aware when out shopping of your surroundings and who is in your personal space. 

Don't allow anyone to look over your shoulder or distract you when withdrawing money from cash machines or paying for goods.

Keep handbags zipped up with purses and wallets to your front and ideally in a money belt or similar. 

We recieve regular reports of victims having purses, wallets and mobile phones stolen, often when a stranger bumps into the person or distracts them by a number of ways.  

Please be vigilant, especially in busy places.
