Criminal Damage to Defibrillator

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following a report of criminal damage to a Defibrillator in the Telephone Kiosk on Papist Way Cholsey.

We believe that the incident has occurred sometime overnight of the 8th December through to the 9th December, although it could have happened sooner.

Clearly this is of huge concern as sudden cardiac arrest remains the UK’s single biggest killer. Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) are lifesaving machines and sadly the one on Papist Way is now not accessible.

We would like to speak to anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage that may have captured those responsible.

If you have any information around this incident, please contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference 43240607059 or online.

“If you do not want to talk to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”

Many Thanks
