Appeal for witnesses to racially aggravated assault – Oxford


Dear Resident,

 

We're appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault in Oxford. 

 

Between 8.25pm and 8.40pm on Saturday (7/12) on Worcester Street in the city centre, the victim, a man in his twenties, was walking along the street, when the offender accused the victim of following him. 

 

The victim has tried to explain that they weren’t, but the offender has proceeded to use offensive language and threaten the victim. The victim has then begun filming the incident, and was pushed by the offender several times. 

 

The victim sustained no injuries. 

 

The offender is described as a white man, between 18 and 25-years-old and approximately 5ft 6ins tall with short hair. He was seen to be wearing a black hooded top with red text on the back and jeans. He was also holding a white/light yellow phone at the time.
