I have been made aware today of “doorstep cold callers” often referred to a “Nottingham knockers”

These are basically individuals who have been dropped off to try and sell goods by means of cold calling houses.

Often the goods are not only of poor quality,but overpriced by comparison.

The sellers may use quite intimidating tactics to sell,and have been known to be aggressive especially towards more vulnerable members of society.

Please do not buy anything of these individuals,and if you feel threatened in any way please call 999.
