Dear Resident, 

We're appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Oxford. 

At approximately 5.15pm on Saturday (7/12) on St Aldates in the city centre, the victim, a woman in her sixties, was involved in a collision with a  van whilst she crossed the road near to the junction of Pembrooke Street. The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene. 

The vehicle is described as a silver/white van. 

The victim sustained injuries, and required hospital treatment, where they remain at this time.
