Violence Against Women and Girls - Free online Bystander Training 16th December 7pm

Violence Against Women and Girls - Free online training 16th December 7pm (link will be provided upon registering your interest)

Free bystander training is being offered to the community, delivered by the local VAWG partnership working group. This training is open to everyone.

The partnership has been trained to deliver this training by Welsh Women’s Aid. Bystander training is designed to empower communities to intervene proactively to stop violence and abuse against women and girls. As a result of this training you will understand the concept of bystander intervention, be better able to recognise violence and abuse and develop the skills and confidence to intervene safely if you witness inappropriate behaviour. The Bystander Intervention workshop aims to teach you how to recognise domestic abuse, sexual violence and sexual harassment. It encourages you to challenge inappropriate behaviour safely and gives practical strategies to do this. The training package will last from around an hour to an hour and a half.

To register for your free place, e-mail ThatchamNHPT2@thamesvalley.police.uk and the MS teams link will be directly sent to your e-mail address.

Thank you
