Protect Your Bike

There has been a few reports of bike thefts in the area recently , so please follow the below crime prevention advice to protect your bike -

  •  Fit a good bike lock, such as one with a Sold Secure rating, and attach your bike to something secure
  •  Always lock your bicycle, even if you are leaving it for a couple of minutes
  •  If you have quick-release wheels or parts that are easy to remove, lock them up as well or take them with you
  •  Have your bike's frame security-marked or etched
  •  Keep your bike in a secure garage or shed when at home
  •  Register your bike with schemes such as Immobilise www.immobilise.com
  •  If your bike has been stolen, report it to the police on 101
  • If you have any information about anyone involved in the theft of bicycles please contact Thames Valley Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
