As the evenings draw darker ever earlier, your local Wokingham North NHPT have been out and about responding to your calls, online reports and surveys. This week, as well as our regular duties officers:

💂 PCSO Leightley and PC Scullin attended Windsor Guard for changing of the guard duties. 

🎃 PC Lacey led the way with Halloween operations across both the Wokingham North and Wokingham South teams - ensuring reports of ASB were swiftly responded too, retailers traded age-related products within the grounds of their licenses, and safety above all else was being maintained in all public celebrations.  Fireworks did have to be confiscated from a group of individuals (actually, they ran away from us and left them behind but a win is a win right?) after witnessing them being used as projectiles towards other persons. 

🗣️ PCSOs Elson and Ispas hosted a Have Your Say at Chalfont Sq, Lower Earley.  We met a range of people during the session and everyone shared their thoughts, concerns and ideas which we’ve taken away to work with - exactly what these sessions are for!  Whilst there we had to issue a First Offence Warning for E-Scooter riding. 

🗣️ PCSOs Leightley and Towse held their own Have Your Say in Woodley, as part of our Halloween operations providing advice on personal and property safety

. 

👮🏼 PCSOs Emmett, Elson, Towse and Leightley assisted in the search for a missing person. Found safe and well, but then later arrested for a previous incident 🫣

♥️ PC’s Young and Bogdanova, while on route to a call out, came across a member of public who had taken a nasty fall. They immediately assisted the gentleman at the roadside and provided the first aid required… 

…phew.
