In October we had a Safer Business Action Week 

The Safer Business Action Week involved Business Reductions Partnerships (BCRPs) , Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and the private security industry working with local police forces to deliver a focussed operation with joint patrols, the targeted intervention of offenders and a range of crime prevention activity including raising awareness of the local issues with the general public.

Our aim was to introduce a new retail crime reduction system to make it easier and more timely for retailers to report shoplifting and identify regular suspects and tackle Anti-Social Behaviour. 

Following the success of this action week in Didcot we are now looking to roll out the new system to retailers in Wallingford. 

The Local Neighbourhood Police Team will be in and out of shops in Wallingford on 7th November.
