HALLOWEEN SAFETY

HALLOWEEN SAFETY

We want everyone to stay safe and enjoy Trick or Treat if that's what you choose to do this Halloween night.  However please be mindful that not everyone enjoys this time of year and can find it worrying and upsetting.

Here are a few hints and tips to help the whole evening run smoothly and keep everyone safe:

1. Ensure young children are always accompanied by a responsible adult
 2. Try and only knock on doors of people you know, avoid strangers houses.
 3. If no answer do not knock again but leave the property immediately.
4. DO NOT APPROACH HOMES WHERE A 'DO NOT TRICK OR TREAT' POSTER IS  ON DISPLAY, THIS MAY BE UPSETTING TO THE RESIDENTS!

Officers will be out and about on patrol all evening, if you need any help please stop and speak to them. If you need to report Anti-Social behaviour call 101 or online at www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
Call 999 if crime in progress or you are at risk of harm.
