Suspicious incident report, North Street, Fritwell


Police have been made aware of a report of suspicious incident that took place in North Street, Fritwell on the afternoon of Saturday 5th October 2024.

 

A householder spoke to an unknown man seen photographing the exterior of the property, but who could not provide a plausible reason for doing so when challenged. The man also engaged the householder in a lot of questions about the property, especially the wall to the front (who had built it, where were the materials sourced from etc). The time the male was spoken to by the householder was 5.40pm but he had also been seen outside the same house earlier in the afternoon.

 

The man is described as white, in his late 60s, and was dressed in smart casual clothing (jeans and shirt). The vehicle he was driving was a black Volkswagen Passat.

 

Please be reassured that details of this incident have been submitted to our Priority Crime Team for their awareness and we have not received any reports of offences believed to be linked to this incident in the Fritwell area.
