Appeal for witnesses following a robbery – Reading


Dear Resident,

 

We're appealing for information following a robbery in Reading.

On Sunday (13/10) at approximately 6pm on Queen Victoria street/Junction Friar Street, the victim, a boy in his early teens, was approached by two offenders who have snatched his mobile phone and then proceeded to put him in a headlock, causing him to fall unconscious for a short period of time, allowing them to also steal his bag. 

The stolen items are described as a grey IPhone Pro Max and a grey shoulder bag.

The victim sustained minor injuries to the face and neck as well as a black eye, hospital treatment was required, but they have since been discharged. 

The first offender is described a white male, around 5ft 10ins tall, and was seen to be wearing all black clothing and a potentially Nike branded coat with a black balaclava and bag.

The second offender is described as a male of a mixed heritage, around 5ft 11ins tall with around four silver teeth. They were seen to be wearing a navy blue Nike tracksuit, which had a white stripe down it, and a black baseball cap.
