Police are investigating an incident of Assault and Criminal Damage that took place on Friday 11th October around 7:05pm outside GREGGS in the MARKET PLACE, WANTAGE. 

Two males aged approximately 14-17yrs old have become involved in an altercation. This has led to a window in GREGGS being smashed and one of the males sustaining an injury to his hand. We have been able to identify the injured male and can confirm he received the appropriate medical treatment.

We would be grateful to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. In particular we are keen to speak to an adult male who we believe may have taken images of the incident before leaving the area, possibly on a bus. 

It is believed at this time that the youths involved are known to one another and as such we do not believed there to be any risk to the wider public.
