Good Evening 

We received a report yesterday (02/10/2024) of a male who approached a member of the public in Newbury Town Centre demanding payment of £240 for some guttering being cleaned, the work is not believed to have taken place. The description of the male is brief, he is said to be in his 40's and wearing a black baseball cap, black trousers and a black top. 

If you are approached by anyone requesting money for any services you have not requested yourself, we would advise no payment is made. If you have had a service completed, it would be expected that you have an invoice, a receipt or a quote as a minimum.
