Appeal for witnesses to robbery – Arborfield


Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Arborfield. 

At around 7.50pm on Monday (30/9), a man was assaulted by multiple people on Whitehall Drive.

The offenders demanded the keys for his car and proceeded to drive away in it. 

The victim, a man in his twenties, sustained a fractured hip and remains in hospital in a stable condition at this time.

The offenders are described as six to eight males in dark clothing, and one male wearing a grey tracksuit.

The car, a Blue Citroen C1, has been recovered.

On Monday, officers arrested two 17-year-old males from Wokingham, in relation to this incident. They have since been released on conditional bail.,

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Jon Hare, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and who believes they may have witnessed the offenders driving away after the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I’d like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage to contact us, and to anybody who lives in the area and may have CCTV or doorbell footage. You can upload any digital evidence to our online portal.
