Appeal for witnesses following incident – Slough

Dear Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following an incident in which a man may have been assaulted, and struck by a vehicle in Slough.

Between 6.20pm and 6.50pm, on Friday (13/9) emergency services were called to the A355 Beaconsfield Road, near the junction with Farnham Royal Park Lane, by a man who had been injured.

The man has reported being assaulted, which has then caused him to fall into the road where he believes he has been struck by a vehicle.

We do not have a description of the person or persons, who assaulted the man, or a description of the vehicle.

The man, in his sixties, was taken to hospital and was treated for a broken, jaw and arm. He has since been discharged.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Christian Meichsner, said: “We are investigating this incident in which the victim has suffered injuries.

“This incident happened on Beaconsfield Road, near the junction with Farnham Royal Park Lane, when many people will have been commuting, as such we would ask anyone who may have information to please come forward.

“We would ask motorists, to please check any dash-cam footage they may have if they were travelling on the A355 road between 6.20pm and 6.50pm on Friday, and get in touch if it shows anything that may assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information should call 101 or add  information on our online form, quoting reference 43240441351.”

Thanks,
