Appeal for witnesses to exposure incident – Oxford


Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an exposure incident in Oxford.

At around 8.30am on Friday (6/9), the offender was seen exposing himself on the tow path alongside the canal near Rewley Road.

The offender is described as a white man, aged between 60 and 70-years-old, with greying hair. He was wearing a blue jumper and jeans.

Police staff investigator Lorna Starr said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this exposure.

Members of the public may see an increased police presence in the area while we investigate and conduct our enquiries.

“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240429903.

 “Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
