We're appealing for witnesses following an assault in Slough. 

On Saturday (31/8) between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Farnham Road, two individuals were involved in an altercation in a black Volkswagen people carrier. The victim, a woman in her late twenties, was head-butted by the offender, causing the car to swerve and mount the kerb. The car was later seen parked dangerously in the Beaconsfield area. 

The victim suffered bruising and swelling to the head, but no further hospital treatment was required. 

A 35-year-old man from Wiltshire has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail until November.
