Dear residents of Newport Pagnell and surrounding areas,

We want to bring your attention to recent incidents of vehicle thefts at the motorway services in our Community. Here’s what you need to know:

Thefts from Vehicles: Over the past several weeks, there have been several thefts from both commercial and private vehicles. Valuables left on display are particularly vulnerable.

Safety Measures:

Secure Your Belongings: Avoid leaving items visible inside your vehicle. Lock them away or take them with you.
Protect Your Keys: Keep your car keys safe and out of sight. Opportunistic thieves may target keyless entry systems.
Park Wisely: Choose well-lit areas and park near other vehicles if possible.

CCTV:

Thames Valley Police will be monitoring CCTV cameras at the Newport Pagnell Welcome Break services to enhance security.

Please use the 101 system to report any suspicious activity or 999 if a crime is in progress.
