We have received numerous reports of a garage in the area , pouring oil into their drains which has then travelled into the river causing pollution and becoming detrimental to wildlife. I have attended and was reassured this isn't happening but that the environmental agency have also taken samples of both the drain and water.

We are waiting for the outcome of those samples and will act accordingly once we get the results.
