Dear Resident

We're appealing for witnesses following an assault in Oxford. 

The incident occurred on Saturday 13 July at approximately 6.25pm outside of West Oxford Community Centre on Botley Road. A teenage girl was approached by a man, who engaged in a conversation with the victim, and then put his arm around her, asking her to come with him. 

The man was then interrupted by an individual, and left the scene on a bicycle in the direction of Botley. The victim was uninjured.
