Appeal for witnesses to aggravated burglary – Kidlington

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary in Kidlington today.

At around 11am, two armed men assaulted and threatened two people at an address in Benmead Road before stealing three watches, worth a total of £20,000, and leaving on a black motorcycle without index plates.

Both offenders were wearing motorcycle helmets and dark clothing but one was described as white and the other as mixed heritage background. One of them was carrying a dark-coloured rucksack.

The stolen watches were a Chopard Classic Racing Superfast with the Watford FC badge and ‘April 2015’ engraved on it, a Hublot Classic Fusion Original Black Magic 33mm and a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34mm black.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Kate May, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “I understand this may be concerning for the community but there is nothing to suggest there is any wider threat to the public.

"We have an increased police presence in the area tonight and tomorrow, so please speak to a uniformed officer if you have concerns or questions.”

Anyone with information or footage should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240305029.
