Dear Resident

We're releasing an image of an individual officers would like to speak to in relation to a theft in Eynsham. 

The incident occurred at approximately 1.15pm yesterday (24/6) on Thames Street, where a male entered a shop and asked a member of staff to look at a number of items in the back. Whilst doing this, the offender stole the member of staff’s mobile phone from the counter. 

In addition, the offender was later seen around the area carrying a large amount of counterfeit cash, and tried to use it to buy £200-worth of items from a shop, but was unsuccessful.
