"Stay True to You" training available from The Ben Kinsella Trust

“Stay True to You” has been developed by the Thames Valley Violence Prevention Partnership (formerly the Violence Reduction Unit) in association with The Ben Kinsella Trust, and takes a deliberately positive approach to empowering young people and those who work to support them, whether as their parent, other family member or carer, or as an education professional, youth worker, sports coach, or community group volunteer.

A brand new website is now live and can be found here: staytruetoyou.co.uk.

It provides a comprehensive set of FREE resources and training opportunities to help start a conversation with a young person about safety. This includes:

  • Flashcards on how to start a conversation with a young person about their safety.
  • A powerpoint presentation and guidance on how to hold a workshop with young people on staying safe.
  • Cards and posters to display or share.
  • Advice for young people on how to stay safe and who to contact for support if they need it.
  • Online Webinar Workshops (details available on the website).
  • ALL BASED ON WHAT YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE TOLD US THEY NEED

  •
