Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in High Wycombe.

At around 10pm on Wednesday (8/5), a man in his early twenties was approached by a man he knew on Rutland Avenue by the mosque. After a short discussion, the man punched the victim, causing him to fall to the floor. The man and two accomplices then proceeded to repeatedly punch and kick the victim. 

The victim received hospital treatment for minor injuries but has since been discharged.
