Dear Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Reading.

At around 7pm on Wednesday (17/4), a woman in her thirties was approached by a man at a bus stop on Oxford Road. She has been attacked and had an amount of cash stolen from her. The victim sustained minor physical injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

A 62 year old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He remains in police custody. 

We are particularly interested in hearing from a witness who tried to intervene and help the victim during this incident. We would also like to speak to anyone else who was at or near the bus stop when the incident took place.
