We are appealing for witnesses relating to an incident on New Street, Chipping Norton who may have seen an attempted theft from a female on 18th April 2024.

On April 18th between 12:25 and 12:45 a female in her 80's was sat on a bench on New Srreet, opposite the junction with Finsbury Place. A white male , aged between 18 and 35 who was wearing  a blue jumper has tried to steal a bag belonging to the victim. 

The offender was unsuccessful in taking the item but did cause minor injuries to the victim.
