Theft of tools, Chipping Norton allotments

Over the Easter weekend period, thieves have targeted various sheds at the allotments on the Burford Road. Strimmers and lawn mowers and other tools have been stolen.

Allotments can be seen as easy targets, however, there are a few things you can do to improve the security of your shed.

Battery operated shed alarms

Mark your equipment with your postcode or smart water

Chain your tools and equipment together.

If there is nothing of value in your shed, leave it unlocked so thieves can see there is nothing in there.

If you have any further information regarding the shed breaks, please call 101 and quote reference number 43240145489
