CCTV / witness appeal – Lavendon area - Monday 17th February 2025 at approx. 01:13 am

Hello Resident,

We have had some criminal damage (graffiti) spray painted (pink) in a few places in Lavendon and we are appealing for any CCTV / Ring doorbell footage that you may have.

At approximately 01:13 am on Monday 17th February 2025, the graffiti spray paint in pink was sprayed in the following areas; the play park area at the Pavilion, fence / pavement in The Glebe, the bridge leading into Rectory Orchard and the bus stop in the High Street.

We have carried out some initial CCTV enquiries and there appears to be a group of 4 children (mostly girls), difficult to say what age, but school going age maybe 13 or 14 years old.  We have taken these images to Ousedale School Olney campus and are working with the teachers to identify who these children are, but if you could look at your CCTV cameras / Ring Doorbell footage and see if you can see a group of girls walking past your cameras in the early hours of the morning, that would be really helpful with this investigation.

I have attached a few images of the graffiti that has been spray painted in and around the area and it may be possible that the pink paint may have marked the children's clothing or hard to wash off their hands, as the MK Council found it quite difficult to get the paint off.

Anyone with information, can either contact myself via this TV Alert or email me arlene.ormston@thamesvalley.police.uk or you can call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250081535.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards Arlene Ormston PCSO
