Graffiti Eynsham

Over the past few weeks, we've seen an increase in graffiti around Eynsham, and we need your help to address it. We've attached an image of one of the graffiti tags for reference. If you recognize these initials, please get in touch—it could be key to our investigation.

Graffiti is considered criminal damage and is punishable by law. Offenders can face fines or even imprisonment if prosecuted. If you witness graffiti being created, you can report it to your local police via 101.

Did you know? Under-16s are prohibited from buying aerosol paint cans. Local authorities are empowered to issue fixed penalty notices for graffiti offences, and they are responsible for cleaning up public buildings and fixtures. For private property, they can clean graffiti but may charge the owner for the service.

Thank you for your support in tackling this issue and helping to keep Eynsham clean and safe!
